The Permian Basin is hard on trees that aren’t suited to it. We help homeowners choose species that handle alkaline soil, low rainfall, and high heat — then plant them right so they actually survive.
What affects the price of tree planting
Planting pricing reflects what goes into giving a tree the best chance of long-term survival in West Texas soil and climate:
- Tree species & size at install — A 15-gallon Live Oak plants differently than a 5-gallon ornamental. Larger calipers cost more but establish faster.
- Site preparation — Soil testing, amendment, drainage correction, and root-zone shaping where the ground demands it.
- Access — Whether we can drive the tree to the planting spot, or have to carry it through a gate.
- Watering plan — Optional drip-line setup or a written watering schedule for the first 90 days — the make-or-break window in West Texas.
- Warranty — We offer an optional one-season replacement warranty on most species, priced per tree.
West Texas Tree Removal sources nursery stock locally where we can and stands behind the species selection — we won't plant a tree we don't think will thrive in your spot.
